Eccles Mansion Renovation

Historic Renovation
PROJECT DETAILS:Salt Lake City, UT  Architect: Max Smith Landscape Architect: Garr Campbell

When the Eccles family of Utah donated their estate in Federal Heights District of Salt Lake City to the University of Utah, the University moved ahead with an extensive renovation of the property. They chose the architect and Lowell Construction to perform the work. The project included complete estate landscape and hardscape as well as interior and exterior renovation and new additions. A tight budgetary constraint required working closely with the architect and the University to develop workable plans. The project was completed with very few changes once the initial scope of the work was established. The University of Utah now proudly displays this as one of their finest properties on campus. It currently houses the Vice President of Health Sciences.
